It's been a super long week. It was also my last week of high school ever!! Finals all went off on a fairly good note, or so I feel! I'll see for sure when the grades are in!
My ceramics teacher was kind and decided the seniors didn't need to take a final. Instead we had a tea ceremony using pottery we made during the semester. According to the Japanese exchange student who sat next to me it wasn't quite accurate, but it was entertaining nonetheless!
My AP Psychology teacher gave us all cupcakes on the last day of class. It was sweet because she made each of them look different to represent how each of us was unique!! Here's mine. It was funfetti and full of colorful m&ms! :)
She also gave out awards to everyone based off of personality and classroom behavior. I was voted by my class as being left-brained and analytical, so I was given a sudoku puzzle book.
My class also voted me as having high morals so I was given a bottle of ketchup because of the Heinz Theory of Moral Development. However, Hunts was cheaper, so that's the brand I got lol!
The last day of school was an emotional one! No one was sure whether they wanted to shout for joy or cry. We started off the day by practicing line-up for graduation, then were released to third hour. I spent it finishing the zentangle tie for our principal and also screenprinted a t shirt.
During fourth hour I gave the tie to him and he liked it so much he decided to wear it for the graduation ceremony! :)
Around 11am my CAPP Spanish class drove to Luna Maya to have lunch. I had a fajita quesadilla and it was super yummy! When we got back to school it was time for our "Senior Shindig" during which seniors were expected to eat grilled food and hang out on the football field. However, it rained shortly after we got there so most of the seniors either went home or back inside the school.
I was a good student and stayed at school; it was my last day after all! My friends and I stayed in a favorite teacher's classroom and played Animal Crossing: New Leaf on our Nintendo 3DSs. So adult-like! It was a good time though.
My friends and I danced for the last minute before the final release bell, then burst into tears when it rang! Although we would see each other over the weekend, we still cried like it was our last parting! Our male friends stood by awkwardly while the teacher laughed!
I have mixed feelings about graduating. For the most part I'm super-duper excited! The other part of me is scared. But that's life I suppose!
Future, here we come!!!!
