I love the smell of cinnamon rolls in the morning!
This post is all about the cinnamon roll recipe my friend and I made during the cooking competition from Wednesday, which we forgot to photograph! Here is the original recipe: recipe.
This morning my boyfriend helped me make them :)
First step, gather all the ingredients!
The white stuff in the container with the red lid is leftover cream cheese frosting from Wednesday!
Next, make the filling. Mix all the ingredients for the filling together. It will look like "wet sand".
Then mix together all the ingredients for the dough. It will look suspiciously dry, but follow what the recipe says and just start kneading it. It will suddenly seem very wet!

Pat it into a rectangle about 9 x 12 inches and slather it with butter! Then put the filling on top and spread around evenly, leaving a half inch gap at the edges!
Next, roll it into a log and pinch the seams shut. Chop it into eight equal-ish pieces.
Place them into a sprayed, 9-inch cake pan. (Cooking Tip I've Learned: even if the recipe doesn't say to spray the pan, spray the pan!!)
Bake for 23-25 minutes until they look like golden sweet biscuits sent from the gods!
Then enjoy eating them in a place with beautiful scenery :)
