A word to describe today was epic! Epic company, epic pizza, epic tour of Epic....!!
Today Ryan and I went on an adventure! Our first stop was Sugar River Pizza in New Glarus. This place is awesome because they have almost an entire page dedicated to creating your own pizza! For our pizza we chose thin crust, hot buffalo sauce for a base, pepper-jack and feta cheese, bacon pieces, hot buffalo chicken, fresh mushrooms, and red onions. Here's the finished masterpiece:
It was sooooooo good!
After a spectacular meal we hit the road again for Verona. We were going to tour the Epic company! For those of you who don't know, the company is called Epic. It just coincidentally happens to also be epic! It's a medical records company with phenomenal employee workspaces that I would compare to Google!
However, due to it being medical (or something), the woman at the front desk asked that any pictures we took inside remain off the internet. Boo! ....Well, at least she didn't say anything about photos we took outside!
This is the ceiling of the visitor parking structure. Awesome use solar panels!
We found a Mr. Humpty-Dumpty sitting upon a wall.
And an awesome garden trellis leading up to the main entrance of campus!
We took a selfie to prove we were actually here! (with our reflective sunglasses you can see arms taking the photo lol)!
We also took a photograph of an official sign for Epic (sorry Humpty-Dumpty).
Two more outdoor shots! Epic has such a beautiful campus!
Ryan and I went on two walking tours that led us through two of Epic's buildings. The interiors are amazing! Each building contains several themes and everything matches- even the elevators! If you ever find yourself in Verona I would highly recommend these free tours!!
Afterwards we headed back for home because I had to be at work at 5. We stopped at a coffee house in New Glarus called Fat Cat Coffee Works to get a white chocolate latte and a cinnamon roll to share for dinner (so healthy).
On my walk home after work I came across these beautiful roses and felt very happy with nature.
What a colorful day! :)
