The morning started off with a two mile run! The only time we stopped was at our halfway point. This was our tenth run and I'm already much further than I thought I'd be at this point! I always have to thank Ryan for putting up with me as a running partner because I'm not exactly enthusiastic about going. I'm also thankful because I wouldn't be able to muster the willpower to go without him!
Ryan left to work for a little while. During the time in between meetup I painting stick puppets and sculptures for my mom because she has an art fair coming up!
After finishing about half of the puppets I moved on to pilates. I'm following Cassey Ho on youtube and worked on legs today. Boy does she go hard! Ouch!
When Ryan got off for lunch we took a trip to the Garden Deli. We ordered sandwiches and a two-scoop bowl of ice cream! We ordered iced "latte-dah" and lemon meringue and both were awesome!
After lunch I helped Ryan sort out his closet. Once we sorted his huge book piles in keep or donate I organized them by color. It made me feel very accomplished!
As late afternoon came around I went home to chill before work. I took photos of random things around the house with my camera. I got a particularly interesting picture of my cat! Although the room wasn't very bright, when I looked at the picture there was a white flash across my cat! Whoa :O
Then I went to work, which went by as usual! Then Ryan and I hung out once again (it was a Ryan day!) to make pasta for dinner and watch a movie. We mixed a lot of everything together for the pasta.
It consisted of macaroni noodles with a sauce comprised of marinara, alfredo sauce, and carton of mushrooms, green onion, and leftover fajita chicken. It was very good! We critiqued it and decided what changes we'll make next time, and then a recipe will be posted! Here's the finished meal:
After dinner we watched Jurassic Park. I fell asleep at the end so he had to wake me up when it was time to go. It was a long but colorful day! :)
