The title of this post is the perfect description of my day. To start it off, Ryan and I went running. I believe this was our ninth run! Holy moly, almost halfway to twenty! Horray!
What a beautiful day for running! On our cool down lap I just had to stop and take a picture :)
After the run I went to the store to pick up flour so I could bake in the afternoon. The reason behind two of the recipes I made is because a certain friend of mine gave me a very generous and unexpected graduation gift! To thank her I made chocolate chip cookies her and peanut butter pumpkin dog treats for her poodles.
Then, since I already dedicated most of the day to baking, I decided to give another go at banana bread for my family members! The last time I tried banana bread it turned out awful. Despite leaving it in the oven for ages, when I finally took it out, let it cool, and flipped it over, half the bottom stuck to the pan and in inside was runny. Sadness.
However, this time I used a family recipe and it turned out lovely!
What a colorful and yummy day! I love baking! :)
