I decided to make some dog treats for the adorable pups in my life. They were very easy to make, and required only three ingredients!
PreCooking: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 1. Mix the pumpkin and peanut butter together with a spoon until they become one.
Step 2. Add the flour by 1/4 cup amounts so it can be evenly distributed. If dough seems too sticky, add by a couple tablespoons until it can be workable.
Step 3. Roll into a ball.
Step 4. Flour workspace and roll dough out with a rolling pin until about a 1/4 inch thick.
Step 5. Cut into squares with a pizza cutter (or use small cookie cutters). Poke holes with a fork or stamp with something cool for added visual interest.
Step 6. Place onto greased baking sheet (or sheet covered in parchment paper) and bake for 10 minutes. Allow treats to cool, then share them with your favorite pup!
My dogs sure enjoyed them! I couldn't get them to sit still enough for a nice picture while holding the treats in my hand. They were so excited!
Then Buzz thought if he sat down like a good boy he could get more treats out of me. I couldn't resist! I gave him a treat for being cute, which is not the correct way to train a dog. No wonder Buzz is five pounds heavier than Rusty! (T.T)
