This is the easiest pizza dough recipe I've ever found! Ryan and I were able to mix it up, add toppings, and bake and eat it in less than 20 minutes! I'll admit that it doesn't get as crispy as the crusts you bake before adding toppings, but its simplicity is great. We were madly craving pizza and this recipe delivered in no time!
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and sprinkle a baking sheet with corn starch (you can also line the pan with parchment paper, but we didn't have any).
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a dough hook until a ball forms. The dough ball can supposedly also be formed by hand stirring, though I'll have to test this to make sure.
Pick the dough ball up with floured hands and pat to form a solid ball.
Roll it out on the pan with a floured rolling pin until its about a 1/4 inch thick.
Spread with pizza/pasta sauce (are they really that different?).
Add desired toppings. We put on Mexican cheese blend, leftover barbecue chicken, and fresh chopped basil. I learned on a cooking show that the best way to chop herbs is to roll them into a bundle and then slice!
Bake for 10-12 minutes, then cool, cut, and devour!
It was so easy and I love finding new ways to use leftovers while cooking. I wasn't sure about chicken on the pizza, but it turned out really good!
