Last Sunday morning Ryan and I did homework. A lot of homework. We took a short break to get breakfast from the cafeteria and then had a picnic on my dorm room floor!
After eating we did more homework, followed by a three hour break! That's longer than we even did homework for! We decided to go to a nearby park and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Be prepared for picture spam!!
This park has a really long stretch of road with parking lot and green areas in between. In total I think there were about eight of them! Two one we stayed longest at had a playground so we went on the swings :)
These cute little plants were halfway between changing colors!
We were very mystified by this tree! It had little red bushels attached to fuzzy branches. The odd thing though was that the rest of the tree had normal bark! How strange!!
Then we found a scenic path to walk on.
The park was along a small stream!
A mysterious tunnel....
Stairs to the stream!
They're super overgrown, but I think that gives them a cool effect!
When we got back to the main area we decided to sky gaze (there weren't any clouds) and it was super relaxing.
For lunch we went back to Chipotle. In addition to it being yummy, we also had coupons!
Then we went back to my dorm to work more on homework. After awhile my suitemates invited us to go with them to the beach. Yes please!
We walked all the way down to Bradford Beach. The water was freezing so we only dipped out toes in!
We also walked along the shore and collected beach glass and drew pictures in the sand with sticks.
