I've been posting a lot about my weekends and not much of my daily life. That's because weekends are usually more interesting, but I have little daily adventures as well.
In addition to my classes this week I've been making a greater effort to go to the gym. I'm restarting the Couch to 5k Program and trying to take more pictures of campus because its really scenic.
For instance, here's a secret path (not really secret) that I take to get to the gym!
More exercise clothes are on my to-buy list for when I have moolah. One pair of pants does not smell good at the end of two weeks! The building on the right is one I pass frequently. I don't know what's inside it, but it's really photogenic.
I successfully completed the first day of Couch to 5k! I was all sweaty even though I only jogged at a 4.5 mph pace. That's a-okay though. By the end the program I will be better! :)
Another vogue beauty shot of campus:
In between the gym and my next class I went mini grocery shopping at a campus convenience store.
Because tortilla chips are addictive I packaged them away into single serving sizes to stop my future self from eating them all in one sitting!
Reflective photo time in the rainbow sunnies:
Here's my little pumpkin from Trader Joes!
On my way to class this morning I picked up a latte to participate in International Coffee Day!!
After class I went to the gym for day 2 of the Couch to 5k program. I followed it up with a gyro in the cafeteria. People always complain about the cafeteria food, but I think it's amazing...
While on my way back to my room I saw an announcement posted on the wall that my dorm was having a practice fire drill at 2pm. Time to go to the library....
The library was nice and peaceful. I didn't stay long though because I couldn't get my computer to connect to the wifi, which is important because most of my assignments are online. It's a great place for quite reading though! More campus beauty:
Then time to crack down and do college. At 3pm I started my math homework. At 7pm I finished. Whah!! I was so hungry by the time I was done! I waited though to help motivate myself to get it done! Upon completion all I wanted was a burger, and by burger I mean chicken sandwich.
During our late dinner my friends and I took sneak snapchats of each other and and replied to them with ugly faces. It was nice and relaxing after doing homework all day! Then I returned to my room to update this post of random life events.
Now it's time to study; see ya!
Hi my name is Emilee and I am a kinesiology undergraduate student. These are my adventures as a young adult living in Milwaukee. Here I will share my experiences as I navigate through college. Thanks for stopping by!
