Thursday morning I packed like crazy, survived my one morning class, then was on the road home! My lovely mother drove all the way to Milwaukee to pick me up. What awesome clouds!
That afternoon we stopped at a Perkins for lunch. Coincidentally it was the same one we stopped at the day my parents dropped me off in Milwaukee for the first time! We shared two appetizers: chicken fingers and fried pickle chips (one of my favorite foods)!
The first thing I did when I got home was say hi to my dogs! Once they were let outside they were calm enough to say hello! Buzz crawled right up in my lap and gave me a kiss! :)
After that though he refused to take cute photos!! XD
Puppy Spam! (and a cat!)
They're so cute.
Ears blowing in the wind...
Then I took some time to appreciate the colors in my backyard. I think the trees are really confused by the weather this year! Some were still green, others orange, some fallen and crispy brown.
My family celebrated my birthday by taking me out to eat at my favorite restaurant Luna Maya. I ate light all day so I could eat everything in the evening! I ordered a fajita quesadilla and it was so amazing!! The restaurant owners found out it was my birthday and I had to wear a giant sombrero for the rest of the evening and was gifted a complimentary Mexican pancake!
After dinner we went to my sister's choir concert which was really amazing. Afterwards we ate ice cream cake and I opened gifts (all food items to bring back to my dorm)!
My sister bought me a super cute alpaca stuffed animal and a gift card to Chipotle. She's amazing!
Then I got to cuddle with my dogs and spend the rest of the evening watching NCIS on Netflix with my family.
Hi my name is Emilee and I am a kinesiology undergraduate student. These are my adventures as a young adult living in Milwaukee. Here I will share my experiences as I navigate through college. Thanks for stopping by!
