Thursday morning started off with a 2.5 mile run with Ryan. We chose to run on the trail this morning instead of on the sidewalks in town. The plant life was very lush!
It's kind of hard to tell, but the photo on the right is a small path/trail leading down to a stream!
We also ran across an awesome looking bridge!
We did a lot more cooldown measures after this run to avoid shin splints again. One that really helped was lying against the garage with our feet up in the air!
After our run we stopped at Chocolate Temptations (perfect for exercise recovery lol) to get coffee. Ryan also bought me a chocolate rose :)
Since it was now halfway between breakfast and lunch we decided to make chocolate chip pancakes (so much chocolate this morning). At the end we tried making a giant one with the remainder of the batter. It didn't die too much when we flipped it!
Then we drove to Albany to go tubing on the Sugar River. I was very happy to go because I'd never been tubing before! I was also small enough to fit in the child sized tube which had a bottom, so I didn't even get wet! Once I get the photos back from the GoPro I'll post our adventures on the river! :)
It was a beautiful day of summer! :)
