Monroe High School, class of 2015 graduated on Sunday, May 31st!
Here's me in my lovely white garb!! (professional)
(not so professional!)
My family drove to the high school together for the last time at 12:45. My friends and I took a bajillion photos and chatted about our mixed feelings and reminded each another where we were all going to college in the fall.
The ceremony started at 1:30pm. Here's me walking in.
The ceremony consisted of speeches and music interludes for about a half hour. I was super proud of my friend's class speech! She included the phrases "welcome muggles" and "my fellow nerds, our time is upon us!" Then we all got to go up to the stage and receive our diplomas and flip our tassels!!
Afterwards was photo time! (with my awesome family)
(with my wonderful boyfriend)
(and with my super-amazing going-to-do-something-great-with-their-lives friends)
There was also this interesting sequence. I don't remember what my boyfriend was saying, but he evoked these expressions!
After the ceremony my family took me out to eat at my favorite restaurant Luna Maya. I went there only three days ago, but was more than happy to go again!!
When that pleasant experience was over I met up with my friends to go grad party hopping. We visited five total! One of my friends had her face printed on m&ms. Awesome! It was a super busy day and we were at parties until 8:30. When I got home I took and shower, did some yoga, then went right to bed!
Hi my name is Emilee and I am a kinesiology undergraduate student. These are my adventures as a young adult living in Milwaukee. Here I will share my experiences as I navigate through college. Thanks for stopping by!
