Friday, September 11 was an awesome night. Ryan and I had tickets to go see Penn and Teller perform at the Riverside theater!! All week I was waiting for this night!
Small interjection: My sister posted a picture of my dog Buzz on Facebook after giving him a bath. I was so happy to a photo of him that I squealed and ran around the suite to show all my roommates!
Back to business. Ryan arrived in Milwaukee a couple hours before the show and we decided to visit the Central Public Library before getting a bite to eat. The Milwaukee library is HUGE!! We walked around inside and explored the children's room and marveled at how many books they had.
After our library adventure we went to dinner at Applebees where I ordered a quesadilla XD
Before heading to the theater, we dropped off leftovers at the car. On the way there we saw this interesting looking building with a brilliant sunset behind it.
Finally at the venue and ready for the show to start!
What an engaging show! They did so many awesome tricks!
My favorite was when Teller took a handful of coins and dumped them into a bowl of water and they turned into fish! They also took a man's cell phone, put it in a cup, smashed the cup, and then the phone reappeared out in the audience, in a Styrofoam box inside of a FISH. How on earth??
To top off an amazing night, Ryan and I went to a walk area by the lake and got a panorama of the city!
Hi my name is Emilee and I am a kinesiology undergraduate student. These are my adventures as a young adult living in Milwaukee. Here I will share my experiences as I navigate through college. Thanks for stopping by!
