The majority of this post is going to be "look how much food I made and ate."
On my first official day back at home we decided to make cookies- lots of them! We went grocery shopping and then gathered all our supplies on the kitchen counters.
Our pets gazed adoringly at us knowing that grand amounts of food were about the be prepared!
Well...maybe the cat was more like "get away from me". He and I don't get along except on very specific conditions: we likes to sneak into my room in the early morning and sneeze in my face. Yuck!
Anyway, down to business! We made:
Lemon Crackle Cookies
Rusty Jones sat on the step to the kitchen the entire time. He's not allowed in the kitchen while we're cooking and he knows it lol!
The food didn't stop there though! While at the grocery store buying a gazillion bags of flour and sugar we became interested at all the different selections of cheese and just had to try 11 of them!
We decided to make dinner a wine and cheese and Stars Wars movie marathon. (episodes 4, 5, & 6)
Fancy gourmet dinner...and go! So much cheese.....
Salty foods in fancy bowls...
Neat looking crackers...
and of course a cookie plate!
Our awesome finished dinner setup.
On our way to a very merry holidays indeed! Ba-ba-dup-ba, ba-ba-daaahh.......
The following morning was a very early morning indeed! We wanted to see the newest Star Wars movie but the only showtimes available at the theater we wanted to go to were for the 7am showing, so we woke up at 5:30 am and took a mini trip!
The Palace Cinema. Recliner seats. 3D movie. Oh yah...
