Cheesy onion bread is the most delicious things I've eaten. It was almost gone in just one sitting!
This recipe is simple and can be found throughout the internet. All you need is a loaf of bread (not sliced), butter, green onions, and cheese the flavor of your choice!
To make: Chop the green onions and add them to melted butter. Stir.
Slice the cheese.
Cut a crisscross pattern in the bread (slice it one way, then the other).
Delicately shove all the slices of cheese into the cracks.
Then poor the butter and green onion mixture all over the bread (this part gets messy)!
Wrap in tin foil, place on pan, then bake in oven at 350 for 10 minutes. Remove foil from top and put back into oven until bread is golden-brown and all cheese has melted.
Place cheesy onion loaf onto a pretty plate to take pictures if you scrapbook or blog, then enjoy to your heart's content!!
Make sure you have lots of napkins while eating because it does get pretty messy! It's worth it for the deliciousness though....
