I started off my first day on campus with a cup of hazelnut coffee with southern pecan creamer. It was soooooo yummy and the photo turned out super vogue! :3
My suitemates and I decided to walk around the campus and find where all of our classrooms are. We visited a bunch of lecture halls and they were super duper as to be expected. After seeing them we were blown away by the homeliness of the classrooms in the honors college! So awesome!!
Another super neat looking building found on campus.
That afternoon we signed up for a free tour of Sprecher Brewery (the soda version, of course)!
Here's the outside! It certainly didn't look like a brewery to me (compared to the brewery in my hometown which is the only brewery I've ever seen). The main area indoors reminded me of a castle!
The tour was pretty short. I think we spent more time waiting for everyone to shuffle from one room to the next room than we did actually listening to the tour guide talk. He made sure to state several times that they only produced gourmet soda (a total lie but everyone on the tour was underage).
After the concise tour we were able to go to the bar area and order unlimited soda samples from the tap! I tried lo-cal (low cal) root beer and an interesting soda called Puma Kola that was both sweet and spicy! We explored the gift shop afterwards and I bought a bottle of the Kola to share with my boyfriend and also a cream soda flavored lip balm. Yum!
To add more to the business of life I also got a new job! I interviewed later in the day and was offered a position working in food service. Back to working a uniform!
Here's to a great day with wonderful people and the promise of new experiences!
Hi my name is Emilee and I am a kinesiology undergraduate student. These are my adventures as a young adult living in Milwaukee. Here I will share my experiences as I navigate through college. Thanks for stopping by!
