This past weekend was crazy busy because we had eight relatives in town to help with my graduation party! Our house was packed!!
Although busy, Ryan and I still found time to get out and run. For some strange reason we have problems when we take picture; we can't smile at the same time!
Once running was done on Thursday, my mom, aunt, sister, and I went shopping all over town for food ingredients and decoration supplies. The rest of the afternoon was spent making colorful tissue flowers and baking a great big load of cupcakes!
Friday morning Ryan and I went for another run. It was a beautiful morning! We found a very cute looking leaf on the ground while running.
We went around the square and at the end decided to grab a vanilla almond latte and a chocolate covered biscotti.
It was very yummy. While at Chocolate Temptations we found a sign of great wisdom:
In the afternoon my grandparents arrived from up north. We dined on some of the foods we bought the day before and marveled at my grandma's new crazy looking dog named Regis.
Guess what I did on Saturday morning? I went running with Ryan! We got into a pretty streak over the weekend! We also managed to make the same faces at the same time!
There was a small plant growing through the middle of the sidewalk! It didn't take no as an answer from the surrounding concrete. Good job little plant!!
Later on Saturday the square had a start-of-summer celebration called "The A'square'ium". The title was so lame lol. The booths all around the inside ring of the square were cool though. While there we saw a trailer full of fish and visited several local stores, including the Pet Spot. It was super cute!
Then, finally, Sunday came: the day of my graduation party! There had been a whole lot of hubub up to this point! I'll share those adventures for another post. I somehow managed to misplace the flashdrive with all the good photos (the ones on my phone are just so-so). Oops!
It was a colorful and exciting weekend! :)
